HIBERNATION DAY!
As a culmination to our study of animals in winter, all kindergarten students "hibernated" today! There were bats, chipmunks, brown bears, ladybugs, snakes, frogs, and woodchucks everywhere! Tables were turned into caves and, through the magic of technology, we even saw the snowy woods and heard the howling wind right in our classroom! There was one pesky skunk who visited every cave and shook things up! Thank goodness she's gone!! Here are some pictures of the adorable little woodland creatures in their natural habitat...
When spring finally arrived, all of the animals foraged for food.
Thank goodness everyone found a snack!

Farm to School
😊😊😊
We were so excited to have our Farm to School lesson today. Miss Anne and Miss Lizzy taught us about sweet potatoes. We even made a special salad. EVERYBODY tried it and ALMOST everybody liked it! We are so lucky to have a Farm to School lesson every month at Chamberlin School.
