Remote Learning Week of September 28

Hello Everyone!

You have a lot of fun choices for at-home learning this week.  Here is a video to help you get started with one of your activities.

Enjoy the story of Ten Little Caterpillars

There's been a lot going on in our classroom.
Here are some things for you to talk about with your family.

We made these caterpillars.
What is special about them?

These scarecrows appeared in our classroom on the first day of AUTUMN!

Tell someone the story of the Rainbow Fish.
Look at the Rainbow Fish that we made!

Look at the birthdays in our class.
What do you notice?
When is your birthday?
Which month has the most birthdays?
Look for your friends' birthdays!

Work hard, play harder!
I will see you soon!

Remote Learning for the Week of September 21

Hello Kindergarten friends!
This week, you have 20 activities to choose from while you are learning at home.  I would also like you to watch the video that Miss Signorino made for us.  She has a BIG word to teach you!

Have fun and I will see you soon!!!

Listen to the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar again, then try some of the activities from your choice board that go with the story.

Here is Miss Signorino.
Listen carefully while she teaches you about a BIG word.  We will learn more about it when you come back to school.

Wow!  That was SO interesting!
I learned a lot, didn't you??

I will see you soon and we will explore SYMMETRY a little more!

September 16, 2020

We have been having so much fun together in room 3!

Here is a story for you to listen to.  It's about where our Monarch caterpillars are heading now that they've hatched and flown away.

Meet my friend Lucca.  He is a first grader at Chamberlin.
Last year, Lucca went to Mexico.
While he was there, he found the place where all the butterflies go.
Take a look at Lucca's adventure.

Tell someone at home about your tool box.

What's in it?  How do you take good care of your tools?

What is the PATTERN on our calendar?

What is this?  Tell someone in your family what you know about it.

Ms. Rouelle has a story for you too!

Be sure to check your learning menu for more fun activities.
I will see you soon!!
